Vulnerable and self-isolating?
People at the highest risk of severe illness from coronavirus and extremely vulnerable residents can call Tower Hamlets council on 020 7364 3030. This number is for Tower Hamlets residents, their families or their carers to let the council know if they have any urgent requirements.
The phone line will be open:
-
Monday to Friday (8am - 8pm)
-
Saturday (10am - 5pm) and
-
Sunday (10am - 4pm).
All other residents who are not classed as being at the highest risk of severe illness from coronavirus or who are not extremely vulnerable, should use the COVID-19 self-isolation support request form to let the council know about your situation and any help you may need while isolating, for example if you are a single parent. Once you have completed the form, someone from the council will be in contact to discuss your needs

Welfare / benefits /council tax

Those with no recourse to public funds (NRPF): If you are someone without access to public funds or benefits, or are supporting someone in that category, please call the Praxis advice line, currently running an advice line on Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm and on Thursdays from 10am to 12.30pm on 020 7749 7608 and 020 7749 7605.

Support with food
If you are high-risk or self-isolating due to coronavirus contact Bow Food Bank to supply and deliver food on info@bowfoodbank.org or call the First Love Foundation on 020 3069 9877. For a wider range of options and information around food provision click here.

Housing & Homelessness: Anyone urgently concerned about their housing situation can email homeless@towerhamlets.gov.uk or call 020 7364 7474

Need help getting your prescription?
Pharmadocs online pharmacy based in East London, currently providing free prescription delivery service to anyone who is self-isolating . Email the patient name, date of birth, Address , NHS number, and they can arrange for the prescriptions to come to them, prepare them, contact the patient, and get it delivered to them. The can also send patient deliveries via Royal Mail first class post, for those patients who prefer that option instead.
